The debian-conserver-xcat.patch.gz is to be patched on to the debian source
package retrieved on a debian system via:
$ apt-get source conserver
or from the appropriate source package at http://packages.debian.org/
and built with:
$ dpkg-buildpackage

The debian patch includes the SSL patches already.
