8dd5e11774 Removed the check of pping/ppping -i option when trying to remove the 'hfx' postfix in hostname, since in power 775 cluster, it is also possible to check ethernet connections with -i enx.

53e3b83a8f Changed to check if the file is readable before trying to source it instead of checking if the system is Linux. Seems more universal and should clean up the problems that were created.
