829f107beb For Ubuntu builds, adding a .gitignore to ignore the files generated 
from the builds.  Also remove the changelog because that file is going
to be ignored from the source tree.  Ubuntu builds are being done
in the xcat-core directory and causing issues when we are switching
between releases.    Should probably change the builds scripts as a longer
term solution

f8bd32838a Change the debian/rules file to executable to supress 
a warning during the build.  The rules file is required to have
execute permission as it's the debian "Makefile"

335ffc1410 Make sure SOL is set to the current active channel for that channels SOL config 
(necessary when the settings aren't *really* per-channel, but not smart enough to follow automatically)

64d4295cbe added detection of bmc port 2 if the hardware only supports port 2. If this is not set in the ipmi table then defaults to bmc port/channel 1
