Jarrod Johnson a20b0abb43 Do not clear the buffer on superfluous reopen ... If someone does a reopen, try to preserve the buffer, unless connect proves there to be a deeper issue. The risk of staleness is low, but the experience of the whole screen clearing is tricky.
