=head1 NAME B - Persistently sets the order of boot devices for BladeCenter blades or PPC LPARs using Direct FSP Management (DFM). =head1 SYNOPSIS B [B<-h>|B<--help>|B<-v>|B<--version>] =head2 Blade specific: B I {B|B|B|B|B|B|B|B|B|B|B|B|B}B<,>I<...> =head2 PPC (using Direct FSP Management) specific: B I B<[hfi|net]> =head1 DESCRIPTION For Blade specific: B sets the boot sequence (the order in which boot devices should be tried) for the specified blades. Up to four different medium/devices can be listed, separated by commas. The boot sequence will remain in effect for these blades until set differently. For PPC (using Direct FSP Management) specific: B sets the ethernet (net) or hfi device as the first boot device for the specified PPC LPARs. The B command requires that the ethernet or hfi mac address is stored in the mac table, and that the network information is correct in the networks table. =head1 OPTIONS =over 7 =item B|B|B|B The first hard disk. =item B|B The second hard disk. =item B|B The third hard disk. =item B|B The fourth hard disk. =item B|B|B Boot over the ethernet network, using a PXE or BOOTP broadcast. =item B Boot p775 nodes over the HFI network, using BOOTP broadcast. =item B Boot to an iSCSI disk over the network. =item B ?? =item B|B The CD or DVD drive. =item B|B|B A USB flash drive. =item B The floppy drive. =item B If it gets to this part of the sequence, do not boot. Can not be specified 1st, or before any real boot devices. =item B|B Display the current boot sequence. =back =head1 EXAMPLES =over 3 =item 1. Set blades 14-56 and 70-203 to try to boot first from the CD drive, then the floppy drive, then the network, and finally from the 1st hard disk: rbootseq blade[14-56],blade[70-203] c,f,n,hd0 =back =head1 SEE ALSO L
